About the Role

ThinkTech Digital is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to support the company’s growth by generating new business opportunities and nurturing long-term client relationships.

This role is responsible for managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting and outreach through to closing and handoff—while representing the ThinkTech brand with professionalism and confidence. The Sales Executive will work closely with leadership to execute sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.

What You’ll Do

Business Development & Sales Execution

  • Execute the company’s sales strategy to generate new client opportunities
  • Prospect, qualify, and manage leads through the full sales cycle
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand client needs and propose tailored digital solutions
  • Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and service recommendations
  • Negotiate contracts and close new business
  • Meet or exceed individual sales quotas and revenue targets

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Serve as a trusted advisor during the sales process
  • Ensure smooth transition of new clients to the delivery team

Pipeline & Performance Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems
  • Track and report on pipeline activity, forecasts, and performance metrics
  • Participate in regular sales meetings and performance reviews
  • Continuously refine outreach and follow-up strategies to improve conversion rates

Brand Representation

  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions primarily in the Calgary and Edmonton area, with occasional trips across Canada and internationally
  • Represent ThinkTech professionally in all client interactions
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Operations to support campaigns and outreach initiatives

The Ideal Candidate

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven success managing the full sales cycle and meeting revenue targets
  • Demonstrated success in closing deals; cover letter must include an example outlining a recent closed opportunity and the candidate’s role in the process
  • Native-level fluency in English (written and verbal)
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Confident conducting discovery conversations and identifying client needs
  • Active and professional presence on LinkedIn, with consistent engagement in sales-related activities (posting, sharing insights, commenting, networking)
  • Established LinkedIn network with 1,000+ professional connections
  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Willingness to actively participate in networking events, industry functions, and trade shows to generate new business opportunities within Calgary, Edmonton and beyond as needed

Experience & Background

  • 5–7 years of sales experience (B2B preferred)
  • Experience in digital marketing, agency environments, SaaS, or client services strongly preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM systems, ERP platforms, and sales analytics tools
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing services and client experience strategy considered an asset
